Everett to host U.S. Soccer Mens National Team watch party as they take on Uruguay

The City of Everett plans to host a free watch party for the U. S. Soccer Men’s National Team's friendly match against Uruguay on November 18, 2025, at The Flying Pig, starting at 4 p. m. Attendees are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to support Volunteers of America Western Washington, receiving a complimentary beer or soda in return.

This initiative highlights Everett's commitment to community engagement and support for local charities. City officials are also negotiating with the United Soccer League to bring professional soccer teams to Everett, which would involve the construction of a new Outdoor Event Center. This facility would host various events, enhancing the urban core and boosting the local economy. As Everett gears up for the FIFA World Cup 26™, it has been designated an official Fan Zone, offering match viewings and community celebrations. The watch party signifies Everett's growing reputation as a regional sports hub, which includes events in hockey, baseball, and concerts.

Local soccer fans can also look forward to a Draw Event on December 5, 2025, to learn about the upcoming FIFA World Cup matchups.
