Everetts Wintertide celebration brings extra cheer to the holiday season

Everett's Wintertide celebration launches on November 28, 2025, with a free tree lighting ceremony in downtown. The event will feature hourly blizzards, live entertainment, and free photos with Santa, creating a festive atmosphere for families. Mayor Cassie Franklin remarked on the significance of the holiday season for community bonding, highlighting the festival's variety of free activities made possible through grant funding. Following the kickoff, attendees can participate in more than 40 events, including Small Business Saturday and the 3rd annual Cookie Crawl, which promotes local commerce. The festival also includes the Port of Everett’s Holiday on the Bay, offering waterfront family fun, and the Everett Figure Skating Club’s show, "December to Remember.

" New this year, the Evergreen Arboretum introduces a daytime event called Deck the Boughs. Wintertide aims to enhance community engagement and provide joyful experiences during the holiday season. With a full schedule available online, residents can plan to enjoy the season’s offerings.
