Election Ballots Arrive in the Mail This Week

Snohomish County will begin mailing ballots today for the November 4th General Election to about 530,000 registered voters. Voters can anticipate receiving their ballots by the end of the week, following the recent distribution of Voters’ Pamphlets. The election will feature critical local races, including positions for mayor and county council members, as well as statewide ballot measures. Auditor Garth Fell urged voters to engage in the electoral process, stating that local elections shape communities directly. Voters have until October 27th to register or update their registration, with in-person services available until 8 p.

m. on Election Day. Additionally, there will be 35 official ballot drop boxes open 24 hours a day until the deadline for ballot returns. The return of County Charter Review Commission positions marks a significant event, as voters will elect members to review the county charter every ten years. Voters should utilize the local voters’ pamphlet for information on candidates and measures.
