Everett Candidate Forum Taking Place on Thursday

The City of Everett Council of Neighborhoods will host a candidate forum on Thursday at the Everett Transit Station, with doors opening at 6 PM and the forum beginning at 6:30 PM. Moderated by the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County, this forum offers residents a chance to meet candidates for mayor, city council, and school board, hearing their priorities and visions. Notable candidates include mayoral hopefuls Cassie Franklin and Scott Murphy, along with various candidates from the city council and school board. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit written questions, which will be vetted by moderators. After the forum, a meet-and-greet will allow for face-to-face interactions with the candidates.

This event is in-person only, with no streaming options available. If residents cannot attend, My Everett News will conduct Q&As with each candidate over the next month. The Everett Council of Neighborhoods, established in 1990, consists of volunteer representatives from local neighborhoods, fostering community engagement.
