The City of Everett has opened applications for its 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Affordable Housing Trust Funds (AHTF), and HOME Investment Partnership Program funds. CDBG funding totals $850,000, with $127,000 allocated for Public Services and $552,000 for Non-Public Services, while AHTF and HOME provide $125,000 and $300,000, respectively. CDBG funds are sourced from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), while AHTF funds come from Snohomish County document recording fees through an interlocal agreement.

Proposed activities must meet statutory requirements and comply with HUD regulations to be considered for funding. Applications are due by October 31, 2025, and potential applicants must meet with Community Development staff during the week of October 13, 2025, for technical assistance. The City reserves 20% of the CDBG award for Planning and Administration expenses. It also highlights its commitment to equal housing opportunities, ensuring compliance with civil rights regulations. The City will provide translation services for non-English speakers and assistance for individuals with disabilities upon request.
