Everett Fire responds to early morning apartment fire, one injured

Everett, WALocal News

Early on September 15, 2025, the Everett Fire Department responded to a working apartment fire at Crystal Springs Apartments. Crews arrived within minutes to find a woman had jumped from a second-story deck, sustaining injuries that required hospitalization. Firefighters treated her on-scene before she was transported in stable condition. The fire caused extensive damage to the originating unit, with the apartment below suffering significant water damage. Firefighters battled flames that extended into the attic and siding on the building, taking about 30 minutes to extinguish.

Fortunately, the apartment had working smoke alarms, which likely aided in the evacuation. The Everett Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire. Residents are reminded of fire safety measures, including the importance of smoke alarms and having a fire escape plan.
