Help Shape the Future of Transit in Everett

Everett, WALocal News

Everett Transit is engaging the community to shape its Long-Range Plan, which will outline the future of public transportation through 2045. The agency emphasizes the importance of resident input in guiding decisions on growth, technology, and safety. An online survey is currently available, allowing residents to share their thoughts until July 31, 2025. In-person events will take place throughout July, including opportunities at the Everett Farmers Market and the Everett Public Library. These events are designed to encourage participation from everyone in the community, regardless of their transit usage.

The Long-Range Plan will focus on enhancing fixed-route bus service, introducing on-demand options, and maintaining a transparent financial outlook. Community members can also provide feedback via phone or email if they cannot attend events. The initiative aims to foster a collaborative approach to improving transit services in Everett.
