19-Year-Old Traveling at High Speeds Crashes Into House on 4th Avenue

A 19-year-old male died following a high-speed crash into a house on 4th Avenue in Everett early on August 27, 2025. The Snohomish County Sheriff's Collision Investigation Unit reported that the driver was traveling at an extremely high rate of speed, running several red lights in the process. He lost control of his vehicle after nearly colliding with another car at an intersection. The vehicle traveled about 200 feet before striking a parked car, a concrete wall, and ultimately a residence, where it came to a stop. The impact ejected the driver, who sustained serious injuries and was transported to Providence Hospital, where he later died.

This crash occurred in a residential area near Olivia Park Elementary School, highlighting potential safety issues for nearby residents. CIU detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of the collision, focusing on the role of excessive speed. A positive identification of the deceased and determination of the cause and manner of death will be made by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner.
