Scott Murphy leads the Everett mayoral primary with 37. 02%, narrowly ahead of incumbent Cassie Franklin at 35. 37%. Janice R. Greene trails with 24.

35%, while Rich Ryan captures 2. 87%. Voter turnout currently stands at 17. 9% from 475,249 registered voters, with more ballots expected to be counted soon, which may change the outcome. In City Council District 1, Steven Hem holds a slight edge over Erica Weir and Mason Rutledge.

Paula Rhyne leads in District 2 with a commanding 55. 64%. The situation in District 4 is complicated, as Niko Battle leads at 41. 05% but may be ineligible, raising questions about the legitimacy of his candidacy. The city awaits a Candidate Qualifications Declaration regarding Niko, which is due five days after the primary.

As ballots continue to be counted, the final results could shift dramatically.
