Two Arrested for Marysville Stabbing

Marysville Police arrested Andrew Elliott and Keith Stuard for the stabbing murder of Gheorghe Sandru, 66, on March 31, 2025. Responding officers found Sandru with a fatal stab wound after a 911 call reported a man down. The investigation involved gathering extensive evidence, including security footage and DNA analysis, which linked both suspects to a premeditated robbery that resulted in Sandru's death. Keith Stuard was arrested on July 2, 2025, and charged with First-Degree and Second-Degree Murder; his bail was set at two million dollars. Andrew Elliott was arrested later, on July 25, 2025, facing the same charges.

Both suspects remain in custody at Snohomish County Jail, and the case is set for arraignment. This homicide marks a significant event, being the only one in Marysville during 2025. The community is urged to provide any additional information to aid the ongoing investigation.
