Stolen Everett Fire Truck Under Investigation

Everett Police detectives are continuing their investigation into the theft of a fire engine that resulted in multiple collisions on Friday night. The engine crew discovered their 2018 Pierce Enforcer Pumper missing after responding to a medical emergency at an apartment building. The suspect drove the stolen vehicle at high speeds, causing significant damage to parked vehicles along Hoyt Avenue and E Marine View Drive. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, as stated by police. Police Chief John DeRousse called for community assistance in identifying the suspect, emphasizing the risks posed to public safety.

The stolen fire engine suffered severe damage and has been impounded for evidence. A reserve fire apparatus has been deployed to maintain emergency services for Everett residents. The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities urging anyone with information to contact the police tip line.
