Help Shape the Future of Transit in Everett

Everett, WALocal News

Everett Transit is engaging the community to help shape its Long-Range Plan, targeting completion by 2045. The agency invites residents to participate through an online survey accessible until July 31, 2025, and at various in-person events throughout July. Key events include a session at the Everett Farmers Market and meetings at the Everett Public Library, designed to gather diverse community feedback. The Long-Range Plan will focus on expanding fixed-route bus services, developing on-demand service options, and prioritizing safety and communication. It will also include a revised fleet plan and a transparent financial outlook for future operations.

Active community participation is essential to ensure the plan reflects the needs of all Everett residents. By fostering dialogue, Everett Transit aims to create a robust public transportation system. This initiative underscores the city’s commitment to connecting people to essential services and opportunities.
