Both workshops will take place at the Hal Holmes Community Center, providing an organized platform for community members to express their viewpoints. Trained facilitators will guide discussions to ensure a respectful environment, with participants grouped by viewpoint to clarify their positions. The information gathered will shape a follow-up Common Ground Workshop on October 4, 2025, which aims to foster dialogue between differing perspectives. This workshop will follow the Braver Angels framework, encouraging participants to identify shared values and concerns.

The city emphasizes the importance of community engagement in shaping policies that affect residents.
