Have a conversation about Edmonds parks during July 2 Edmonds Civic Roundtable event

The Edmonds Civic Roundtable will host a conversation about local parks on July 2, featuring Parks Director Angie Feser and City Councilmember Vivian Olson. The event will take place at the Pancake Haus, with breakfast and coffee service beginning at 7:30 a. m. and the program starting at 8 a. m.

Edmonds manages 230 acres of parks and open space, which includes over seven miles of trails and a mile of Puget Sound shoreline. Feser and Olson will present briefly before taking audience questions, focusing on the challenges posed by the city’s budget constraints. The event is free, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP due to limited space. This gathering provides a platform for community engagement regarding parks, which are vital to local quality of life. The Edmonds Civic Roundtable aims to foster dialogue about important local issues, particularly in light of financial challenges.
