Top Edmonds School District prep sports stories for 2024-25

The Edmonds School District's 2024-2025 sports season concluded with impressive milestones for local high schools. The Edmonds-Woodway boys basketball team, led by star recruit Cam Hiatt, achieved a historic second-place finish in the 3A state tournament, the highest ever for any Edmonds-based boys team. Hiatt's performance included an average of 21. 8 points per game, earning him recognition as a top player before transitioning to Dartmouth College. Meanwhile, Mountlake Terrace's girls track team excelled, winning the Eason Invitational and placing eighth at the WIAA state meet, their best finish since 2016.
