Top strength and conditioning experts to gather at regional conference in Lynnwood June 14-15

Edmonds College will host the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Northwest Regional Conference on June 14-15 at the Black Box Theater in Lynnwood. The conference operates from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m.

each day, attracting professionals in strength coaching and fitness from the Pacific Northwest. Attendees will benefit from presentations on evidence-based training, athletic performance, injury prevention, and career development. Catherine King, NSCA’s Northwest regional coordinator, and Federick “Fed” Brooks, a local fitness expert, will lead the event. Brooks noted, “This is a rare opportunity to connect with the best minds in our field,” highlighting the conference's significance for local professionals. Registration is available onsite or online, making it accessible to a wider audience.

Founded in 1978, the NSCA supports practitioners through certifications and educational events. This conference reflects the ongoing evolution and focus on scientific approaches within the strength and conditioning industry.

Gas tax will rise in Washington on July 1
