An 82-year-old male pedestrian was transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition after being struck by a vehicle in Edmonds. The collision occurred around 9:30 a. m. on Main Street, involving a 69-year-old Snohomish man who was driving a rideshare vehicle after dropping off a fare. Edmonds police confirmed that there was no evidence of driver impairment, although the driver offered to provide a voluntary blood sample.

The road remained closed for an extended period while police investigated the crash, with assistance from Everett police traffic investigators.
