The board plans to finalize a public review draft based on feedback, seek a recommendation on May 14, and present a final adoption package to the City Council in June 2025. Additional discussions will focus on neighborhood centers and hubs, informed by a recent walking tour, as well as revisions to the design review code to comply with HB 1293. The meeting will begin at 6 p.
m. in the Brackett Room of Edmonds City Hall. Participants can also join remotely via Zoom, with specific access details provided. This process reflects ongoing efforts to adapt local zoning regulations to state housing laws. The outcome could significantly impact housing development and community planning in Edmonds.
