Reminder City of Edmonds invites residents to Centers and Hubs Walk Talks tours starting March 27

Edmonds, WALocal News

The City of Edmonds is inviting residents and community stakeholders to join Walk & Talks tours from March 27 to March 31, aimed at exploring how small-scale commercial and multifamily developments can coexist with existing neighborhood uses. These 90-minute guided walking discussions will take place at various designated centers, focusing on unique local characteristics while gathering community input. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather, as parking may be limited, making walking or biking encouraged. Each session will not only allow for verbal feedback but will also include maps for written comments and the option to submit photographs. For those unable to attend in person, the city provides alternative ways to participate through online comments and printed flyers available at local businesses.

The schedule features multiple locations, with specific meeting points for each session. Residents can RSVP through a provided link or via email to ensure their participation. This initiative reflects the city's commitment to community engagement in urban planning, fostering a collaborative environment for future developments.
