Hazel Miller Foundation awards nearly 200,000 to area nonprofits during first 2025 grant cycle
The Hazel Miller Foundation has made a substantial contribution of $199,375 to nine nonprofit organizations in Edmonds during its first grant cycle of 2025, with a strong emphasis on poverty alleviation and hunger. Noteworthy recipients include Concern for Neighbors Food Bank, which will use its $15,000 grant to provide fresh produce and dairy to over 150 households weekly, and Edmonds Food Bank, which received $17,500 to continue distributing fresh dairy and eggs. The Edmonds College Foundation also benefited from this cycle, receiving $25,000 to support scholarships for more than 140 students, emphasizing the Foundation's commitment to education.
