Traveling exhibition on climate change opens at Edmonds College Nov. 17
Edmonds College will host the National Center for Atmospheric Research’s traveling exhibit “Resilient Earth, Resilient Communities” starting Nov. 17. This exhibition will focus on educating visitors about climate change and its impact on local communities through interactive content panels, hands-on activities, and student art. Rachel Wade, a faculty member, stated that the exhibit aims to prepare students and the community for weather-related disasters. The exhibit runs until Jan.
31 at the Edmonds College Library, located on the third floor of Lynnwood Hall. Admission is free, and individuals are encouraged to visit during regular library hours. Groups can also schedule guided tours, which will include interactive crafts and activities. The Environmental Justice Committee organized this exhibition's first visit to Washington state. This initiative reflects a growing awareness of climate issues and the need for resilient community solutions.
