Notice of Public Hearing 2026 budget and Comprehensive Scheme of Harbor Improvements

Edmonds, WALocal News

The Port of Edmonds Commission announces a public hearing for November 10, 2025, at 6:00 p. m. in the Commission Room to discuss the 2026 Budget and Comprehensive Scheme of Harbor Improvements. A preliminary budget was made available on September 25, 2025, while an amended CSHI was released on October 17, 2025. Both documents are accessible at the Port Administration Building or online.

The amendment to the CSHI will be procedural, lacking substantive environmental standards. Public comments are accepted until 3:00 p. m. on the hearing day, with options for in-person or Zoom participation. This engagement allows community members to voice their opinions on the financial planning and harbor improvements.

The final budget and CSHI will be approved in the same meeting. David Preston, President of the Port of Edmonds Commission, is leading this initiative.
