Reminder League of Women Voters to host online info session Oct. 7 on Charter Review Commission

The League of Women Voters of Snohomish County (LWVSC) will host an online session on the Snohomish County Charter Review Commission on Oct. 7 at 6:30 p. m. Voters will choose three commissioners from each county district, with elections occurring every ten years. The session features notable speakers, including Snohomish County auditor Garth Fell and former commissioner Carin Chase.

Candidate forums for the South County Regional Fire Authority Commissioners Districts 1 and 5 are set for Oct. 16. All forums will be recorded and accessible on the League’s YouTube channel and podcast, lwvsnoho. podbean. com.

Additionally, forums will be broadcast on KSER 90. 87 FM and KXIR 89. 9 FM. The League's website offers a full schedule under the Voter Toolkit. These events aim to inform voters about candidates and the Charter Review process, enhancing civic engagement in local governance.
