Casey Davis of Edmonds Food Bank guest speaker at July 22 Lions Club meeting
Casey Davis, executive director of the Edmonds Food Bank, will address attendees at the Edmonds Lions Club Meeting on July 22 at noon. The food bank, which Davis joined in 2018, provided assistance to over 131,000 individuals last year, reflecting a 16% increase from the prior year. It distributed more than 2. 3 million pounds of food, supported by a dedicated team of 335 volunteers contributing over 36,000 hours annually. Davis, who has degrees from the College of William and Mary and Johns Hopkins University, earned her master's in nonprofit leadership from Seattle University in 2022.
She also chairs the Snohomish County Food Coalition and serves on the boards of the Partnership to End Homelessness and Washington Food Coalition. The Edmonds Lions Club, which has been serving the community for 78 years, is actively seeking new members to participate in its various initiatives.
