Edmonds St. Albans Episcopal Church hosting free food distribution July 9

Edmonds, WALocal News

St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Edmonds will host a free food distribution event on Wednesday, July 9, from 3-4 p. m. The church aims to combat food insecurity by providing fresh produce, meat, and prepackaged items from the Edmonds Food Bank. Visitors can select the food they need at no cost, promoting community support and assistance.

The distribution truck will be located on the north side of the church at 21405 82 Pl. W. , with signage directing attendees on nearby streets. In addition to the event, St. Alban’s operates a community “Blessings Food Pantry” near the church's front doors, offering a variety of food items available for free.

This pantry invites community members to take what they need and contribute items as well. Food insecurity remains a pressing issue in many communities, and such initiatives play a critical role in addressing these needs. These efforts reflect St. Alban’s commitment to supporting those in need and fostering community resilience.
