Cascade Symphony Orchestra announces 2025-26 concert schedule
The Cascade Symphony will open its 2025-26 season at the Edmonds Center for the Arts on October 27, featuring Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 and other notable works. Music Director Michael Miropolsky, entering his 24th season, highlights the inclusion of less frequently heard masterpieces in the repertoire. Young pianists Aaron Jin and Jeffrey Zhao, winners of notable competitions, will perform with the orchestra, enhancing the concert experience. The season will also feature two “Holiday Pops” concerts in December, showcasing soprano Kristin Vogel.
In January, the orchestra will present “Beethoven’s Fifth,” featuring cellist Sunnat Ibragimov performing Lalo’s Cello Concerto. A significant ticket pricing change includes an “Under 50” age discount plan to attract younger audiences. Season ticket renewals cost $115, while individual tickets will go on sale August 1, starting at $30. This concert series aims to foster a lasting appreciation for classical music in the community.
