Troy Guard and Top Chef's Tristen Epps to Host Fundraising Dinner on June 25
Chef Troy Guard will collaborate with Top Chef contender Tristen Epps for a fundraising dinner on June 25 at Guard and Grace. The event aims to benefit Work Options, a nonprofit organization that assists adults in securing careers in the food service industry. Epps, who previously served as executive chef at Guard's now-closed Mister Tuna, has made a name for himself with his Caribbean-influenced cuisine. This dinner represents their first joint effort in Denver since Epps's success on television. Guard expressed his admiration for Epps's career trajectory, highlighting the significance of mentorship and community engagement in the hospitality sector.
Tickets are available for $150 for dinner and $225 for dinner with wine pairings. The event runs from 5:30 to 9 p. m. at 1801 California Street.
