Denver7 Hosts Toy Drive to Support Children in Poverty

Denver7 is hosting a toy drive on December 7 from 6am to 7pm at three Walmart locations to support 166,000 children living in poverty in Colorado. The event will collect new toys and cash donations, which will be distributed by A Precious Child, Kenzi's Causes, and the Denver Santa Claus Shop. Volunteers and Denver7 anchors will be present to assist with the collection. For those unable to donate in person, online contributions are encouraged. Local charity leaders stress the importance of community support, with the Denver Santa Claus Shop expecting to serve 13,000 children this year.

The toy drive aims to bring joy and hope to children during the holiday season, ensuring they receive gifts to celebrate.
