Denver City and County offices will close on Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28, due to a citywide furlough day coinciding with the Thanksgiving holiday. Essential services, including emergency responders from the Denver Sheriff, Police, and Fire departments, will remain operational during this period. The 3-1-1 information line for non-emergency services will not be available, but residents can submit online service requests.

The Denver Animal Shelter will be closed, although Night Drop kennels will remain accessible for lost pets during the closure. Other city agencies, including the Auditor's Office and Clerk & Recorder's Office, will also be closed. City-owned golf facilities will remain open, weather permitting, allowing residents to enjoy outdoor activities. Cold weather shelters will activate on Friday, Nov. 28, to assist those in need.
