Chicago PsychBlues Band Daisychain Dropping Debut Album, All In A Name

Chicago, ILLocal News

Chicago's Daisychain will release their debut album, “All in a Name,” on June 27, marking a significant milestone for the band. To celebrate, they will perform at Sleeping Village on June 30, sharing the stage with local favorites La Rosa Noir and SUNVOLUME. The trio, formed in 2017, includes Nickole Regala, Sophia Williams, and Frankie Sripada, who sought to push their creative boundaries by collaborating with acclaimed producer Sylvia Massy. Massy challenged them to prepare 100 song ideas prior to recording, a task they surprisingly accomplished. The resulting album features 10 tracks that blend various influences from garage rock to ‘70s glam.

Williams expressed the album's emotional range, highlighting songs like “Shadowfax” and “Rivers” for their distinct vibes. Daisychain aims to resonate with listeners through their innovative sound and engaging performances. Following the album launch, they will embark on a Midwest tour beginning July 11.
