Boy, 15, fatally shot in Little Village

In a heartbreaking event on Friday evening, 15-year-old Jerry Aquino was shot and killed in Little Village, Chicago, during a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred around 5:10 p. m. as he stood on a sidewalk in the 2800 block of South Komensky Avenue. A vehicle approached, and someone inside opened fire, resulting in multiple gunshot wounds to the teenager.

He was quickly transported to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
