2 killed, 3 wounded in shooting at Hammond pub

A devastating shooting occurred at Portside Pub in Hammond, Indiana, early Sunday morning, claiming two lives and injuring three others. Upon arrival around 4 a. m. , law enforcement discovered five individuals with gunshot wounds. Of the injured, two are currently in serious condition, while the third's condition has stabilized.

The two victims who died at the scene have yet to be identified by authorities. Preliminary investigations indicate that this tragic incident may be linked to domestic issues, raising concerns about safety in local establishments. The Hammond Police Department is actively investigating and is asking the community for assistance in gathering information. Police Detective Lt.
