Piccadilly Pub Will Open In Lincoln Square's Former Green Post In December

Chicago, ILLocal News

Piccadilly Pub is set to open in Lincoln Square's former Green Post location at 4749 N. Rockwell St. in early December, featuring a fast-casual menu inspired by UK chippy culture. The menu will include gluten-free fish and chips, smash burgers priced at $9, and the debut of frozen Irish coffee. Owners Aaron Zacharias and his team aim to create a community pub experience, allowing customers to order at the bar and have their meals served at the table.

The new pub will also collaborate with the adjacent Piccadilly Market, offering customers the option to have market sandwiches delivered to their tables. Zacharias explained that the pivot from the Green Post was driven by the evolving hospitality landscape and the need for a dining model that resonates with local customers. Many former Green Post staff will return to serve at the new establishment, reinforcing the community connection. The pub will feature holiday decor and pub games, enhancing the inviting atmosphere for locals. Piccadilly Pub reflects a commitment to providing fantastic food, great drinks, and fair prices in a welcoming environment.
