Atelier Restaurant Reopens Friday In New Lincoln Square Location

Atelier, a Michelin-starred restaurant, opens its new location at 4544 N. Western Ave. in Lincoln Square on October 10, 2025, following a successful fundraising campaign that raised $485,340. Owner Tim Lacey, a 20-year resident of Lincoln Square, highlighted the overwhelming support from the local community during the transition from its previous site. Initially, the restaurant will serve walk-in diners from 5 to 9 p.

m. , featuring Chef Bradyn Kawcak's small plates until a liquor license is obtained. Dishes will include rabbit liver mousse with apricot preserves and orecchiette with white truffles. Beverage Director Ali Martin will curate a unique wine list focusing on female producers, and a cocktail program will complement the seasonal menu. The newly renovated space accommodates up to 36 customers, ensuring a cozy atmosphere.

Lacey emphasized Atelier's goal to be a friendly neighborhood dining spot offering Michelin-caliber cuisine. Chicago magazine ranked Atelier as the second-best restaurant in the city on its 2024 list.
