The Leo High School boys choir from Auburn Gresham has advanced to the semifinals of "America's Got Talent" after a captivating performance of "Believer" by Imagine Dragons. The choir's success came following a public voting process, showcasing their talent and hard work. Choir Director LaDonna Hill, who recently retired after 25 years at the school, expressed deep gratitude for the boys' commitment and the community's support. Judges Sofia Vergara and Howie Mandel praised the choir, with Mandel stating he loved them more than cheerleaders, highlighting their impressive stage presence. The choir, made up of 18 members, has maintained a rigorous rehearsal schedule since auditioning in March and has performed at significant events in Chicago.

Hill noted that their dedication has not gone unnoticed, as "America's Got Talent" had been watching them since last year. She emphasized the importance of teamwork, stating, "It took so much hard work, just collectively. " Hill's experience has been one of immense pride, as she feels inspired by her students just as they are inspired by her.
