She operates Chicago Discus, a business selling aquarium fish, out of her basement, highlighting her lifelong fascination with marine life. The garden hosts a variety of plants such as colorful orchids and towering cacti, showcasing her dedication to horticulture. Local children frequently visit to interact with the animals, while Christopher shares plant clippings and eggs, fostering a sense of community.

Her aunt, Miranda Miller, assists in maintaining the expansive garden, which has evolved with each new addition. Christopher's efforts reflect a commitment to creating a welcoming space for both domestic and wild animals.
