Zaza’s Pizzeria is set to expand into Lincoln Park, taking over the former Pizzeria Bebu site at 1521 N. Fremont St. The move marks a significant milestone for brothers Chadd and Brett Nemec, who opened their first restaurant in Lakeview in 2021. In a short time, Zaza’s established a loyal customer base, gaining acclaim for its East Coast-style pizza, particularly its lighter, crispier crust. The new location will replicate many of the beloved signature pizzas while introducing new items tailored to the Lincoln Park clientele.

The renovation includes fresh paint and updated equipment to enhance the dining experience. The brothers have also ventured into the suburbs with two additional restaurants under the Nemec Brothers Pizzeria brand. An official opening date remains unannounced, but they are close to completing the renovations. Zaza’s commitment to quality ingredients, such as Stanislaus plum tomatoes and Grande mozzarella, continues to elevate their offerings.
