Uptown will host its first major street festival, Uptown Live, on Broadway from September 19-21, marking a significant community event. The festival will showcase live music from artists including Joywave, DJ Mark Farina, and Tortured Soul, alongside entertainment from the renowned Baton Show Lounge. Attendees can explore a dedicated kids’ area, a dog area, and live art productions throughout the weekend. A suggested $10 donation at the gate will help fund the event and support local neighborhood initiatives. This festival follows similar announcements from Edgewater and West Ridge, both of which are also introducing street festivals in September.

The Edgewater Music Fest will take place from September 5-7, while the inaugural Arts on Devon festival is set for the same weekend. More information about participating eateries and beverage vendors will be provided in the coming weeks. Uptown Live represents a growing trend of community-focused events aimed at enhancing local engagement and celebration.
