Cubs To Host First-Ever Oktoberfest In Wrigleyville This Fall

The Cubs will host their first-ever “Oktoberfest with the Cubs” from September 19-21 at the Toyota Camry Lot in Wrigleyville. This three-day event will feature traditional Bavarian food, live music, and carnival rides, making it accessible for all ages. Cubs Senior Director of Event Operations Morgan Bucciferro emphasized the festival's intent to celebrate Oktoberfest for the entire community, not just Cubs fans. The festival will transform into “Kinderfest” on Saturday and Sunday, offering kid-friendly activities like face painting and crafts. Tickets start at $15 for adults, and children under 10 can enter for free.

The event will culminate in a pregame party before the Cubs' game against the New York Mets on September 23, which includes a special ticket package with a commemorative stein. Additionally, the East Lakeview Neighbors will host their 25th Annual Oktoberfest on September 20, featuring traditional German fare and live music. Proceeds from the East Lakeview event will support local charities.
