Chicago, ILLocal News

A 22-year-old woman was killed, and 10 others were injured in three shootings following a massive unsanctioned street party in Austin early Sunday. The first shooting occurred around 1:47 a. m. , resulting in four victims, while six people were shot near the party site about an hour later. Neighbors reported that the party, organized by TikTok star JRoy, drew hundreds and led to chaos and violence.

Local resident Mrs. Carter condemned JRoy's actions and called out Mayor Brandon Johnson for failing to intervene. Johnson’s team will address community concerns this week, highlighting the need for increased safety measures. The violence has raised alarms among residents, who are demanding action against unsanctioned gatherings. No suspects are in custody, and detectives are actively investigating the incidents.

Such events have sparked discussions about youth discipline and community safety in Austin.
