Dimos Pizza Closing Wicker Park Location, Moving To Logan Square

Chicago, ILLocal News

Dimo’s Pizza will close its Wicker Park location this August, transitioning to a new site at 2246 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Logan Square. The restaurant has served as a local favorite since 2013, particularly among artists and nightlife enthusiasts. In a heartfelt social media post, management expressed gratitude for the community's support and shared that they have not finalized an exact closing date.

The new location will occupy the space currently held by Victory Grill, which remains open but is listed for sale. Dimo’s also operates in Lincoln Square and Wrigleyville, offering signature pizzas like the Elote and Nashville Hot Chicken. This move reflects a broader trend of businesses leaving the Wicker Park area, where several retailers have recently closed. Dimo’s owner, Dimitri Syrkin-Nikolau, has not responded to requests for additional comment regarding the transition. The closure marks a significant change for the local dining landscape, as the area continues to evolve.
