MooDeng Cafe and Sushi Bar has also opened in Six Corners, featuring a menu of sushi rolls and Asian dishes like poke bowls and BBQ pork buns. In Gladstone Park, Cured and Crafted is now serving artisan sandwiches, including the Lomo Saltado, reflecting owner Mike Barboza's Peruvian heritage. The Bluebird Cafe's Portage Park location closed due to a fire, and the building is currently for sale despite previous renovation efforts.

The Lakeview location of Bluebird Cafe continues to operate. The recent openings and closings highlight the dynamic food scene on Chicago's Far Northwest Side, catering to diverse culinary tastes. This shift in the local dining landscape reflects changing community needs and preferences.
