“The Bear” received 13 Emmy nominations for its third season, a drop from last year's record-setting 23. Ayo Edebiri made history as the first woman nominated for both acting and directing in a comedy series in the same year. The show competes for Outstanding Comedy Series, causing some to argue it fits better in the drama category.
