The Bear Is Coming Back For A 5th Season

FX announced the renewal of its acclaimed series “The Bear” for a fifth season just a week after the fourth season's launch on June 25. The show centers on Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto and his team as they face an unfavorable review while trying to establish their fine dining restaurant. Each character grapples with personal challenges, such as Carmy attending Al-Anon meetings and Sydney receiving a competitive job offer. FX Chairman John Landgraf highlighted the show's impressive global fanbase and viewership numbers, which have remained strong throughout its run. With a total of 21 Emmy Awards, “The Bear” holds the record for the most wins of any series this decade, including 11 awards for its second season alone.

The show has also garnered nominations and wins from the Golden Globe Awards and other prestigious ceremonies. By spotlighting local restaurants, “The Bear” has significantly increased their business and community engagement. All seasons are available for streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
