Residents also raised issues about the proposed dynamic revetment and its potential impact on the natural beach, which they believe is sustainable.

The Army Corps of Engineers aims to address these concerns as they move forward with the project. The redevelopment is part of a larger 1993 shoreline protection plan, with Morgan Shoal being one of the last incomplete sections. Community feedback emphasized the importance of preserving the area's natural beauty and functionality.
