The Lake Chelan Community Center announces a partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County to open a new youth development site. The Lake Chelan Valley Boys and Girls Club will begin offering programs on July 7, addressing a significant service gap for local youth. This collaboration aims to provide affordable and high-quality programming, focusing on academic success, healthy lifestyles, and character development. Executive Director Maribel Cruz stated that the initiative is crucial for meeting the community's pressing needs. The Club will operate in a dedicated space within the Community Center, designed specifically for youth activities.

Angela Collins, the Area Director, expressed excitement about tailoring programs to local families' priorities. The Grand Opening celebration will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tours, and entertainment.
