Investigators follow more leads in search for Travis Decker, public asked to remain vigilant
The search for Travis Decker intensifies as he is wanted for the alleged murder of his three daughters, aged 5, 8, and 9. The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office has been executing search warrants and gathering information to locate Decker, who is considered dangerous. Residents in Chelan, Kittitas, King, Snohomish, and Okanagan Counties are urged to secure their homes and report any sightings. The bodies of the girls were discovered near Icicle Road after they were last seen during a visitation on May 30. Decker faces serious charges including three counts of first-degree murder and kidnapping.
A reward of up to $20,000 is being offered for information leading to his capture. The U. S. Forest Service has closed the Icicle Creek area to aid in the search efforts. Authorities caution the public not to approach Decker, as he may be armed.
