Several Juveniles Arrested in Shooting Incident in East Wenatchee

Nine male juveniles were arrested in East Wenatchee on May 16, 2025, after police responded to an assault and gunfire report. The incident occurred near 3rd Street NE and North Georgia Avenue, prompting officers to discover multiple spent shell casings in the roadway. Surveillance footage captured the suspects fleeing to a nearby apartment complex, leading police to secure a search warrant for the location. The East Cascade SWAT Team was deployed to ensure the safety of residents and officers during the operation. Upon entering the apartment, officers safely detained all nine suspects and recovered three firearms along with additional evidence.

They were subsequently transported to the Chelan County Regional Justice Center and Juvenile Detention on charges related to the incident. The police department continues to investigate and encourages community members to provide any relevant information. This incident raises concerns regarding juvenile crime and gun violence in the area.
