MOE Palooza carnival set for May 18 to raise funds for school supplies

Morgen Owings Elementary School announces its annual MOE Palooza spring carnival on May 18, designed to raise $14,000 for school supplies needed for the 2025-2026 academic year. The event will run from 12 to 3 p. m. at 407 E. Woodin Ave.

, welcoming the public and targeting children in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Carnival attractions will include games, face painting, a cake walk, and a "Pie the Teacher" raffle, where students can throw pies at selected teachers after reaching donation thresholds. Tickets will be sold at 50 cents each, with some activities priced differently. Free entertainment will feature a Touch a Truck exhibit, a petting zoo, and outdoor games. In the event of rain, most activities will transition indoors, except for the petting zoo.
