Five for Thrive!

Chelan, WALocal News

Culinary Apple has announced a fundraising initiative for Thrive Chelan Valley, pledging to donate $5 for every five pieces of Fifty Five Fudge sold from May 5–10. This effort directly supports Thrive's mission of providing weekend meal bags to students in need, with each bag costing $5. On Saturday, May 10, Thrive staff, board members, and volunteers will be present to inform the public about their programs and how individuals can contribute. This partnership emphasizes the critical need for food security among local youth in Manson and Chelan. Culinary Apple aims to foster community involvement through this sweet incentive.

Last year, Thrive delivered hundreds of meal bags, underscoring the ongoing need for support. The initiative not only raises funds but also raises awareness about youth hunger in the region. Engaging local businesses in philanthropy can strengthen community ties and improve outcomes for vulnerable populations.
